Spaces and hyphens are removed from titles before they’re hidden, so “Moby-Dick” appears as one unbroken run of eight letters. The word list tells you what to look for; it doesn’t tell you where.

This is a genuine solved grid, not a template with random filler: every one of the fifteen titles below was placed into the fifteen-by-fifteen square first, in one of the eight directions listed above, and the remaining empty squares were filled in afterward with random letters. The answer key gives the exact row and column for the start and end of every title, so you can check a find against the grid coordinates rather than just eyeballing it.

Fifteen-by-fifteen word-search grid.
